Overview: Healing Two Hearts. Creating One Memory.
Lily loves Jonas but implicit trust is another matter. After all they've been through, she still can't believe he'll stay no matter how deep, how dark her secrets. With her ex, Declan, up to his worst, Lily's embarrassed and ashamed...but she's underestimated Jonas. He has brains as well as beauty. With the same ruthlessness he uses to dispatch his business rivals, he vows to annihilate Declan.
Lily is glad to relinquish control. Jonas is determined to personally oversee her recovery and she lets him. She's still too weak to deal with the chaos that's become her life. Jonas whisks her away to a secluded luxury loft in Tribeca and pampers her with sensual decadence.
Every caress, every lingering honey-sweet kiss they share says he loves her--even the way he possesses her body in the sultry heat of the night...but will Jonas commit? Will he ever be able to say those three little words she craves to hear from him?

My Review: I give the conclusion of Jonas and Lily's story a solid and darkly erotic 5 stars. Just as with the first two novels, Lily and Jonas burn up the sheets, walls, and whatever surface they choose to use to physically become part of one another. The story wraps up everything neatly and beautifully so I was not disappointed.
I normally start off raving about how much I loved the male lead but I have to say I loved his son just as much. Paul is Jonas's teenage son who is a music protege attending Julliard. He's Jonas's carbon copy in pretty much every way and I loved that. Paul adores Lily just as much as his father does and he shows it through his actions and protectiveness. He's quite a great supporting character.
Jonas and Lily are still struggling with Lily's past coming to bite her, Lily's eating disorder and weight loss, and the balancing of their new relationship. Lily finds herself giving Jonas the much needed control in order to begin to heal and get herself better. They're very physical and passionate relationship continues and Lily finds herself needing to hear what is in Jonas's heart and to know she isn't a passing fancy.
Jonas struggles with giving Lily the complete security she needs as he moves her into his apartment to live with him. He shows her physically how important she is to him but doesn't always effectively communication his love for her in a way that she would have no doubts. He is a generous, passionate, loyal, and driven man. It isn't hard to like him or love him.
The story gives both Lily and Jonas their happily ever after while rapping up their relationship and future. Amelie S. Duncan completes her series with an erotically beautiful ending. This series is definitely for those of us who loved The Crossfire Series (Sylvia Day), The One Night Trilogy (Jodi Ellen Malpas), The Ethan Frost Series (Tracy Wolff), and the Jackson Steele Trilogy (J. Kenner). I loved each book in this trilogy and am a now loyal fan of Duncan.
