My Review: 4 Navy SEAL loving stars to Fan the Flames. I'm a sucker for a Navy SEAL guy, I know it and accept it. Brad's an ex-SEAL and that basically sold me to even consider this book. I have to say it didn't let me down and I'm glad I read it. The writing is good, the story is sweet and kind of a second chance one, and the characters are great.

Brad Silverman, you sir, can have your wicked way with me any day of the year. Brad is cunning, loyal, dedicated, physically imposing, and tender beyond belief. He's darkly good looking and confident with a great body because what ex-SEAL member has a bad one? I loved Brad. He was everything a man should be and more. His faults were even perfect.

Scarlett was such a great character, too. She was a good match for Brad. She is what I think of when I think of a typical military wife since she married her high school sweetheart and was only ever with him sexually. She deals with her loss and eventually begins to realize she isn't dead and Brad may just be all she needs.

The story weaves the two characters into one another nicely. It shows the inner conflict both face while their undeniable attraction and chemistry. Brad isn't a dickhead but a compassionate and darling hero which is a nice change of pace. I really liked the story and I'm so glad because I've been reading meh stories lately.
