My Review: I piss you off, you stay and fight it out with me stars. I have to say I'm really liking these biker gang books lately. I think I just like the elements of danger and bossy men really. I read Wolf by this author and didn't realize they were part of the same series. I just really liked this novel and found myself easily getting lost in it.

Jessie and Ghost have a past that neither one ever forgot. Ghost hasn't seen Jessie since he went to visit the graveyard. He certainly didn't expect to see her trying to hide and save her own life. The protectiveness he's felt over her since she was young came back full force and he instantly took on her problems. Jessie couldn't believe it was him after all this time but there he was saving her.

Jessie made some mistakes including letting herself free fall and follow a guy to Seattle, a struggling musician. She felt alone with her brother dead and Ghost never around for her. After finally seeing "the light" she decides to seek him out and gets into trouble along the way. Jessie is sarcastic, blunt, sassy, and direct. She's loved the one person who hurt her for years and now has to get in his face to admit he wants her just the same.

Ghost is loyal to his MC and uses women for the pleasure of sex without ever getting too close. It is a bit hard to get close when you're tormenting yourself over the girl, now woman, you forced yourself to hurt and walk away from. He's clever, fast acting, fierce, protective, and run by instinct. Ghost's the confident man most women salivate over from his gorgeous face to his nice body and his bad boy aura.

What I think I found the most interesting in this story is how Ghost never tried to tame Jessie but rather let her pretty much be herself. He accepted her mouthing off at him, her sarcasm, her independence, and her knack for arguing with him. He didn't think to try and make her be quiet and do as told unless it was absolutely necessary for survival. I loved that. I think the two worked well for each other because they both pushed each other, challenged one another, and accepted each other for who they were.
